This Client Engagement & Coaching Policy outlines the framework of our partnership, expectations, and the terms governing the services you receive when you enroll in one of our plans. Our goal is to ensure a transparent, professional, and effective experience for all our clients.
1. Our Commitment to You:
- Professionalism & Expertise: CareerStars commits to providing services delivered by experienced and knowledgeable career coaches and resume writers.
- Confidentiality: All personal information, career details, and discussions shared with your CareerStars coach or provided to us will be treated with the strictest confidentiality, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- Personalized Approach: While our plans have defined services, we strive to tailor our guidance and support to your unique career goals, industry, and circumstances.
- Constructive & Honest Feedback: Our coaches will provide honest, constructive feedback designed to help you improve and achieve your objectives.
- Ethical Conduct: CareerStars and its representatives will operate with the highest ethical standards in all interactions.
2. Client Responsibilities & Expectations:
- Active Participation: Your success is a collaborative effort. We expect clients to actively participate in coaching sessions, complete any agreed-upon assignments or preparation, and be receptive to feedback.
- Honesty & Transparency: Provide accurate and honest information about your career history, skills, and goals to enable us to serve you best.
- Timeliness & Communication: Please attend scheduled sessions on time. If you need to reschedule, provide adequate advance notice as specified in our scheduling terms. Respond to communications from your coach in a timely manner.
- Implementation of Advice: While we provide expert guidance and strategies, the implementation of job search activities is primarily your responsibility.
- Realistic Expectations: While we are committed to helping you achieve your career goals, CareerStars cannot guarantee specific job placements, interview outcomes, or salary levels, as these are influenced by many external factors beyond our direct control, unless specific guarantees are explicitly outlined in your chosen plan’s detailed Terms and Conditions.
3. Service Plan Specifics:
- The specific services, deliverables, number of coaching sessions, and duration of support are outlined in the description of the CareerStars plan you have purchased.
- Any services requested beyond the scope of your purchased plan may be subject to additional fees, which will be discussed and agreed upon in advance.
4. Scheduling & Cancellations:
- Coaching sessions will be scheduled at mutually convenient times.
- Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel or reschedule a coaching session, please provide the required advance notice as outlined in our service agreement. Missed sessions or late cancellations without sufficient notice may be forfeited or subject to a rescheduling fee, at CareerStars’ discretion.
- CareerStars reserves the right to reschedule sessions if necessary, with adequate notice provided to the client.
5. Payment & Refunds:
- Fees for CareerStars service plans are due at the time of enrollment, as outlined on our Pricing page and in your service agreement.
- Refund Policy:
- Our 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee applies under specific conditions as detailed in our service agreement, primarily if core services have not yet commenced and a formal withdrawal request is made within the initial 30-day period.
- Once core services have commenced, plan fees are generally non-refundable as resources and expert time have been allocated and utilized.
- Specific conditions related to any “Job Offer Guarantees” are outlined in extensive detail in the separate Terms and Conditions document specific to those guarantees, which require strict adherence to all program participation criteria.
6. Limitation of Liability:
- CareerStars provides advice and guidance based on our professional expertise and experience. We are not liable for any decisions you make based on our coaching, nor for the ultimate success or failure of your job search, as these are subject to numerous external factors. Our liability is limited to the fee paid for the services rendered.
7. Intellectual Property:
- Any materials, templates, or resources provided to you by CareerStars are for your personal use in connection with your job search and career advancement. They may not be reproduced, distributed, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent from CareerStars.
8. Policy Amendments:
- CareerStars reserves the right to amend this Client Engagement & Coaching Policy at any time. The most current version will always be available on our website. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
